Wander up to the medieval church, Eglise Notre Dame d\u2019Esperance. The church was built in the 14th and 15th centuries and offers a great view of the city to tourists. And because 2017 is the 70th year of the Cannes Film Festival, you can see one of the year-long celebratory fixtures like the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals. You can also walk through photographer Gilles Traverso\u2019s celebrity photo exhibits \u201c40 years, 40 photos\u201d and \u201cFestival de Cannes 2016\u201d at the city hall.
