Fort Revere Park-This park is over eight acres of historic sights. It contains two seacoast fortifications, a water tower and picnic, with grilling, facilities. Open year-round from sunrise to sunset, there’s a lot of ground to explore and ample time to do it in.

Hull Life Saving Museum-Housed in the former Point Allerton US Lifesaving Station and founded in 1889 by Joshua James, this museum offers a unique cultural experience. James is considered the “father” of what became the US Coast Guard and this museum is dedicated to preserving Boston Harbor’s maritime heritage. Traveling exhibitions featuring seafaring compositions can often be found on view, as well as lectures from authors on  related subjects such as whaling.

Boston Harbor Islands State and National Park-Includes 34 islands and peninsulas covering more than 50 miles of bays, harbors, and rivers in the greater Boston Harbor basin. It features historic man made landmarks such as lighthouses and Civil War-era forts, ensconced in the natural beauty of lush wilderness and swirling waters. Enjoy swimming, hiking, fishing and picnicking on the peninsula. There are also ferry rides available to visit one of the many neighboring islands.
