We are sorry but there are no available rooms for September 25, 2020.
Guests at Courtyard Pittsburgh Shadyside have day use rooms within minutes of Oakland universities, and the added convenience of free parking and free Wi-Fi. Attractions within easy reach of the hourly rooms vary from arenas of major league sports to concert halls, botanical gardens and parks to art galleries, and plenty more besides.
Global Menu – Hot dog fans are just steps away from The Shady Dog, but if you prefer to try the culinary treats of the Middle East then head over to Khalil’s where the menu includes kebabs and vegetarian/vegan options. Bitter Ends Garden & Luncheonette has a constantly changing menu of fresh-baked breads and pastries, whilst sushi, salads and bento boxes are available at Ginza Japanese.
Sporting Arenas – The PPG Paints Arena is close at hand, and the home of the NHL’s Penguins. But it’s not the only first class stadium you can find in Pittsburgh. Just across the river, Heinz Field and PNC Park, home to the Steelers and Pirates respectively, are near neighbors, providing NFL and MLB action too. And even if all three teams aren’t playing when you’re in town, their stadia often host other sports or live concerts.
Art Museums – To the south of the hotel is the Carnegie Museum of Art, an expansive museum of modern art featuring a variety of media including sculptures and paintings. Head west and you’ll encounter the Andy Warhol Museum, and the landmark building that houses the Randyland art museum.
Natural Beauty – There are hundreds of verdant acres to explore at Schenley Park, with the Overlook presenting visitors with a range of urban and silvan vistas. Natural beauty with a human touch is available even closer to the hotel at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens where there is a variety of gardens available to wander.
