Hampton Inn Chicago-Carol Stream is just off North Avenue, and the vicinity day visitors can find a selection of golf courses. There’s also a nearby zoo, a variety of great restaurants, and even a Hindu temple.

There’s half a dozen dining options east of the hotel, including Hong Ning Filipino Restaurant & Grill, which combines a laid-back style with traditional dishes from the Philippines.
Golf Galore – There are many golfing opportunities within easy reach of the hotel, so if you’re keen to sharpen up your game during your day stay the hardest part will be deciding where to play. Klein Creek Golf Club is one of the nearest, and has the added benefit of a pub, and if you prefer to play for fun there’s Coyote Crossing Mini Golf just to the west.
Cosley Zoo – Located just a few minutes to the south is Cosley Zoo, a cozy wildlife attraction featuring native animals domestic and wild, such as owls, pigs, horses, and turtles.
- BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir – To the north-west is something you might not have expected: the magnificent Hindu temple of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. Stunning architecture in traditional Indian style makes this a fantastic place for some souvenir photos, with food on-site and peacocks strutting their stuff through the grounds.
