The Peak is part of Franklin Mountains State Park, the largest city park in the USA, and an ideal place to enjoy leisurely strolls or a picnic.
Exotic Wildlife – El Paso Zoo is home to hundreds of exotic animals from oceans away, from lions, zebras, and giraffes from Africa, to tigers, leopards, and elephants from Asia, and plenty more besides.
Museums – In the south-west of El Paso there’s a great selection of museums, including the El Paso Museum of Art, a quintet of galleries that feature American, European, and Mexican works. The nearby Museum of History examines four centuries of border life, whilst the Wigwam Museum, originally a saloon from the 19th century, puts on ghost tours as well as history exhibits.
