I waited an hour and a half for a shuttle bus to come from the terminal to take me to the hotel. The first shuttle bus drove right by the pick up spot outside the terminal without stopping or looking. After waiting 20 to 25 minutes for the next bus to come around, which is their normal schedule, I started calling the hotel. It was another 45 minutes until another shuttle bus finally came. Guest services was dismissive and unapologetic about the long wait. They said since it was a day stay, they would not pay for an Uber or a taxi to get from the terminal to the hotel. This was an unacceptably dismissive treatment of a customer, despite paying a rather substantial some reason for a day stay.

The Hotel was close to the airport. Spacious room. Clean. Bed very comfortable. But the shuttle service is not good. Incoming we waited 30 minutes, outgoing even close to one hour. The information says that the shuttels come every 20 to 25 minutes. Thats not true. Another minus is the almost non-existent restaurant or cafe. Only few hours a day open, a tiny Starbucks exists.

All good, I chose it because it is very close to the airport, however they have the WORST shuttle service, extremely slow. Advertising says that it is between 20-30 minutes. Not true, you wait up to 1 hour, and they have only one bus. You will see shuttle for others hotels like 3 or 4 times while you wait for yours. I saw 5 times the shuttle for Hyatt Centric while waiting for mine (and both hotels are next to each other)

The facilities were excellent. Comfortable. Bed and room. Was amazing. What was not amazing was the gentleman on the front desk. We had booked 9:00-8:00pm and even though our flight from New Zealand was 1 hour early he was not letting us in a minute early. We just wanted to change it to 8:00 - 7:00pm. We were not asking for more time. The room was ready. No flexibility for exhausted travellers, is not how you promote your services. So we sat in the lobby for two hours waiting. Girl who checked us in at 9:00 was. Lovely.

Long layover at LAX, chose this hotel as it came highly rated. I previously stayed at another hotel on another long layover and it was ok but felt sketchy. However at this location I can confirm I felt very safe, the shuttle bus was efficient, easy to get an Uber in and out to enjoy your day too. If I have a long stop over again, I will definitely be returning, it's a perfect solution for a long annoying stopover. They also have a nice little bar for evening which I thought was a nice touch. I rate it!

They had first some difficulties finding our reservation. We were too early and so rested in the lobby. More than 30 minutes earlier we were allowed to go into the room. Big, clean, silent. Friendly staff. Only the small restaurant only opens for breakfast. Shuttle also great.

We found that the checkin process was seamless, the hotel staff excellent, the large room was very clean & well equipped for our day stay close to LAX. We make a special mention to the cafe staff inside the hotel as well for their outstanding service & the food was great. The free (driver tip only) shuttle service from the hotel to LAX was very good with the driver helping with our heavy bags on & off the bus, thank you. The one thing that I found a bit off putting was the ammenities charge that we had to pay, even though we didn't use the pool or gym during our stay, But overall we would highly recommend this hotel.
