There was going planned water outage, 12-3:30 pm, for most of the time I was there. My booking was for 10:00am-6:00pm. If I was notified of the water outage, I would have changed my stay to another day and make different plans. I was not notified until I was already checking in. It was useless to let me know when I was checking in. I like to soak in the tubs when I stay in. And with the water outage, it was just impossible. And then I had to plan for using the toilet.

My hotel room was fantastic! The bed was extremely comfortable and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. My stay at the Hilton/Rosemont was a phenomenal elixir after my nightmare layover at O'Hare.

I'm sorry but this is a Marriot/sheraton property? The lobby looked nice but everything else about this hotel was very low quality. The outdated and dirty rooms are awful. The old, thin towels were disappointing to say the least! The bedding was nice but the quality and cleanliness of everything else made the bedding seem like a very small win. I asked for a robe at the front desk and the person had no idea what a robe was. When I finally got her on the same page she kinda chuckled and said" oh no, we don't have those". I then asked," is this a marriot/sheraton property?" She said yes. I then asked if they had any soda and she directed me to the little snack section in the reception area with the convenience food for purchase. Zilch! Water and Gatorade. Not a soda to be had. It was just an awful experience in general. Even the pool was awful. It was freezing an a few crappy stackable chairs. No table. Not a relaxing place. Four points in Norwood has a spectacular pool area. I am so sorry I chose to take my little staycation at this property. I never write bad reviews. Only good ones. Sadly I was compelled to report this. Don't think anyone else should have their little respite ruined by a bad choice in accommodations. My opinion, this property should be gutted and start fresh. Location is great. Everything else feels like a run down motel 6

The Hampton Inn Port Hope is a very clean and comfortable hotel. Front desk staff was very friendly, kind, courteous. She was very helpful when I called earlier to confirm the room, which was booked literally last minute.

Most everything was great except checkin. Checkin line was long and slow.

Just easy to book & understand. Saved us money by not having to book a day tour which was double the price. Overall a Brilliant option.

Amazing stay, friendly staff and the rooms were really clean and cozy.

Easy and friendly check-in. Cozy bed. Lovely bathroom. Had a desk, mini fridge, everything I needed for a day retreat. Would book again.

Very efficient service. No problems with check in, great room, perfect for my needs. Use of amenities is a bonus. Very reasonable room rate.
