Had a redeye flight and couldn't check in to my booked hotel till 4pm. I found THIS WONDERFUL HOTEL to use for day until I could check in at the other main hotel for my vacation. The front desk was super friendly. The had my reservation all ready and I was able to catch up on sleep until my room at the nearby Grand Hilton (DoubleTree) was ready. Clean room with great wifi and TV/streaming options. Room was a great size and layout. Came with pool access even though I didn't use it. Check out was easy. Deposit was $125 which initially I thought was high, but you get it back eventually and frankly it was worth it. The room was $111 base rate and I think it was for an 8 hour block. (I only needed it for 3.5 hours). Would happily book again at the Hyatt Centric South Miami and strongly recommend them to others that might find themselves in a situation like mine where catching up on sleep after a long day of travel overnight. Thank you!!

This hotel's location is perfect—close to the airport and the city. The price is great for the value

They were very accommodating and let us into a room early. They chose a location that was quiet so we could sleep. It was a clean room with a nice shower and very comfortable bed.

Wanted to give this hotel a second chance.. was booked into a room that wasn't finished as far as housekeeping and had a broken drape making the bedroom unable to be darkened. It was a short stay for $100 from 9:00 to 2:00 and I need the rest I did not want to go through the nonsense of them trying to put me in a different room and wasting an hour. So I napped on the couch where you could keep it dark. Once again disappointed in Hilton.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We are in a college town that was completely booked for move-in weekend, but the staff was able to find a room quickly. The space was clean and the amenities were perfect for keeping small kids entertained.

Last minute booking that I needed for a red eye flight and loved being able to book for a pretty extended block of hours from 3am-6pm. The only reason I dropped the rating was because my room could have been a tiny bit cleaner and I did find someone else's long hair within my clean towels. The room I was in also very strongly smelled of chlorine because I was right next to the pool and the seal on the door preventing outside odors seemed to be worn down. Would definitely book again and will next time request a room further from the pool.
