The hotel accommodation was a disgrace. They charge for parking, the desk clerk was very rude and they hold on to a $75 deposit which they say won't return to your account for 5-7 days. Very disappointed.

Have been a regular user of the day use. Staff is friendly and nice but the check in system is very slow. They have to get an email from the back office, and if sometimes noone is there, the guest has to wait as long as 30 to 60 min. The other thing is the $25 resort free they charge - which is absolutely a ripoff. This is not a resort hotel and they provide nothing for it. This should be included in the price of the hotel and put upfront. Otherwise, hotel is old but nice enough and convenient location

Hotel was under major construction so it was way overpriced for Dayuse and took way too long to get into a room

All went as planned, room was cleaner everything worked it was Thanksgiving, so there were football game on, the TV had a little mishap. I try to straightened iit out had to go in back of it and reposition the HDMI cord because somebody left it undone, and then the remote didn’t work and we got one from the front desk, all in all nice decent day we do it again

On my first visit to Shade Manhattan Beach, CA, the room was not ready at the reserved time, even though my reservation was in their system. On my second visit, they claimed that the room was not confirmed and there was no room available. The RUDE front-desk person eventually contacted the manager, and after an hour wait, they eventually found a room. Hotels by Day needs to drop this property as a client. I will not use Shade Manhattan Beach, CA ever again. I should have learned from my first experience with them. This was not the relaxing day experience I wanted.

At the time of check-in, I was told to wait 30mins because there are no rooms available. What's the point of asking your expected time when you can't even get the room avaible at the check-in time to begin with. Once I came back, there was gentleman who also booked a day use and was told the same thing - to wait. Finally after 42minutes, I was able to get my room.

I paid for the room in advance, so I reserved the room. After arriving, the hotel people told me they overbooked the room. So I had to wait more than one hour to get to my room. Next time, I will just go to pastime to a Starbucks or get a cheaper hotel. These guys are not very serious about their compromise. Avenue Of The Arts Hotel can not be trusted.

Check in took extra time as they needed to re-enter it in to their system, elevators are very slow and too little capacity for hotel size and then they billed my card 20% more than Hotels by the Day quoted. Room was clean and pleasant so giving 3 stars for that.

The worst part of our 8 week holiday was this experience at the Best Western property. A horrible hotel, can’t believe any rating agency would have a property like this on their books. After checking in, our big mistake, we booked a trip to the airport on the 4pm shuttle. The room we were in was so bad, we actually took the 1pm shuttle to escape!!! We’re are meeting our travel agent tomorrow and we will make sure she does not use your company ever again.

We're surprised by the review as this property has been on our platform for years and this is the first bad review we got for it (not that we discredit your experience in anyway). Hotel stay at Hyatt Regency Harbor was fine. The room was clean and the area quite close to Logan International Airport. Apparently, there is a free shuttle between hotel and airport but booking confirmation made no mention on this. Breakfast buffet is available at USD27 but I find the selection quite limited though. Our biggest issue for our stay was that the hotel charged us for our stay even though payment was already processed by hotelsbyday.com. After calling customer service, we got email that the amount charged by hotel will be refunded... but it will take 3-5 days. Hope that hotelsbyday.com could ensure that this process is ironed out as guests have limited hours to enjoy their stay but instead have to spend valuable time following-up on this.

The motel was great. Nice room and very clean. Unfortunately, there is apparently no communication between "hotelsbyday" and the Motel, causing the motel staff to scramble to find a room for me.

Whilst the room was great, the check-in and check-out process at the hotel was appalling. On arrival our reservation was not easily found, and whilst we had paid for this hotel in full via Hotelsbyday, we were held at check-in for more than 30 minutes whilst the hotel tried to verify we had in fact paid. Even the manager needed to get involved all whilst our dayroom hours were ticking away. They eventually allowed us to go to the room, still not fully convinced we had paid for our reservation. On attempt to check-out, an issue of unpaid taxes now became an issue, notwithstanding we had paid for the room and all the taxes in advance via Hotelsby day. This also became an issue that required a manager to come and resolve, again 20 minutes waiting for agreement that we had in fact paid in full. These unnecessary administration matters overshadowed what was a very nice hotel room for day use and would have been completely fit for purpose had all these other annoying issues did not occur. If the hotel is at fault, then they should consider having staff understand that not all guests choose to book directly with a hotel, and if they cant figure the proper administration of such reservations, then dont advertise with booking sites. If hotelsbyday failed to do their job correctly here and caused us the inconvenience, then get your act together in a highly competitive market....as consumers, we have lots of choices, a situation I'm sure you would be aware of and want to fix.

As for what happened in this particular case, HotelsByDay has sent all the booking notifications and confirmations as required by protocol and requested by the hotel. It seemed like it would work, but the hotel staff at the Double Tree hotel didn't seem to know what the voucher was. We sat in the lobby for an hour after a tiring all night flight. By 9 30, we were having to insist on getting a room, but we're told that no room had yet been cleaned. After a bit of insisting, we got our room, but the advertised 9 to 5 didn't happen. Then, on checkout, a much larger bill was presented... essentially the normal rate. So the process didn't work. We likely won't use this service again

Unexpectedly long transit, searched for day rooms and found this site and this excellent offer - and a twin room which is sometimes hard to find. 15 mins from the airport, friendly welcome, spacious room with good blackout curtains and comfortable beds and pillows. Fell asleep in seconds! When we woke up had a coffee, good and strong shower and left. Good size walk-in shower with nice shampoo and bodywash provided, plus a shaving kit and toothbrush. All that we needed for a half day (midday to 7pm), comfortable, spacious and a friendly welcome and goodbye.

I own a restaurant so I know what it is like running a business, and I'd like to highlight a fault with your operation. I booked a dayroom for a special occasion with my wife and when I went to check in, I had asked the receptionist for a DoubleTree cookie, which is what I thought was a unique quirk of your brand and a *thing* the DoubleTree brand was known for doing... handing out a cookie to customers. I was rudely told that Daytime customers don't get cookies. Now if the guy said "sorry we're out of cookies" I would not have cared in the slightest. But for someone to tell me, as a paying customer, that "No you can't have a cookie because you are a daytime customer and not a nighttime customer", is honestly a terrible look on your brand. It's not about the cookie, it's about the principle. It's one thing to not mention or offer the cookie to everyone, but when someone ASKS for one, (because it is quite frankly one of the only things I knew about your brand), and then denying them the cookie because they purchased one type of stay over a different one, it's not likely they will decide to book again. Hope this review gets read but someone in management that actually understands basic common sense when it comes to business and branding.

This was not good. I have stayed in Westins in Capetown and Vegas and those were exeptional hotels. Here the bed linnen was stained, the were blood marks on the towels and in the bathroom there were so many black hairs I could make a wig. Very disappointing.

The room was spacious, clean and quiet, what you would expect from a budget hotel. We also appreciated the onsite restaurant and fitness centre. My biggest issue was with the airport shuttle. I followed the instructions provided by the hotel for requesting the airport shuttle and called the hotel upon arrival using the airport phone. Despite saying that the shuttle would arrive in 20 minutes, it took over 1 hour and 3 phone calls for the shuttle to arrive! Another gentleman had been waiting over 1.5 hours for the shuttle despite also calling the hotel numerous times. The receptionist at the hotel was kind and provided a complimentary buffet breakfast voucher for 2 people for the inconvienience but it was still very unpleasant to be waiting outside in almost freezing temperatures for over 1 hour!

I was charged a parking fee of 55$ although i specifically stated verbatum "I dont have the money to pay for parking, do you have free street parking" She told me to park in #1. This is underneath the the L. Certainly wasnt any special parking. Also hidden fee of deposit which you only get half back. Otherwise hotel was clean, had a community kitchenette downstair which was cool.

Despite calling and speaking with the manager at the Doubletree to reconfirm after booking with HotelsbyTheDay that I need a roomf rom 3-6, I got there and was told by the same manager that nothing was available till 4 pm! You need to figure out your integration with their booking policies MUCH better. The room was fine, but the process was a mess!

Check in/out was as easy as it could have been. To save on money, the hotel had the heat turned off. So the room was freezing when I walked in. Overall, it was nice, but the pictures used on the site do not match the actual room you get. You will not get a balcony, or a large window. But you will get a king size bed and a lot of space. I made it work for what I needed it for.

Even though the hotel was lovely, there was no booking via Hotels By Day. They had never heard of the site and the reference number did not correspond to any booking on their side. The HBD website says to reach out to them on FB messenger if I was having issues checking in , which I did. 7 hours later, I got this response "You can reach us at [email protected] or book directly on our website."

The room was a little dated and a little grubby. I couldn't get internet and when I called down to the reception no one answered. Then, considering it was a dayroom to sleep, the cleaner knocked on the door, waking me, to ask what time I was leaving!!! When I told them at reception as I checked out they just said sorry!

Courtyard by Marriott Long Island City doesn't honor the fee that is stated here for the room, when booking through this site $143.92. They charge flat fee of $170 every time. The room is great though.

Front desk service isn’t as nice as they used to be. Even after calling to let them know, I had made a reservation through hotels by day I was told there weren’t any rooms available. Front desk agent finally found my reservation and said it would be ready by the time I arrived. She still had an attitude, was not pleasant, and seemed to be in a rush, despite there being no one else at the front desk behind me. Restaurant is closed despite advertising otherwise. Other than that the rooms are OK and they serve their purpose for working conditions when I have my laptop with me WiFi could be better.

Room was very nice, a nice, clean place to stay for the day with a late evening flight. Would have had 4 stars if the shuttle had left us off at check-in area of American instead of in a parking lot 3 lanes of highway away and not know where to go. Me, an 82 year old with a 89 yr old husband with a walker, 2 large bags and 2 small. If I had known, would have taken a cab. Very bad experience . Don't know why the driver didn't advice us ahead of time. He could see we couldn't walk well. Booking with Hoteld By Day worked out otherwise to our satisfaction.

Hotel we paid for did not have room ready. Had to wait and said hotels by day should not tell people you can have room at 10 am. Was extremely stressful and ruined an amazing holiday we had beforehand! I had put instructions about curtesy bus too that was never actioned. Wont book again!

Hi Lesley. This Miami airport property receives hundreds of bookings from us per week, all starting at 10am... so it is baffling to read that they accused us of something wrong. We therefore immediately unpublished this property and launched an investigation by reaching out to their executives. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
If I could give negative stars I would. We had a group of 6 adults and a baby so We took 2 taxis to the hotel from port of Miami around 10am totaling about $110 just to find out “they had no rooms available until after 2” we were suppose to be able to check in at 10am.. also they could not find either of our reservations I booked through this site and the others were booked directly with the hotel. But said they were sold out the night before and it was not possible to have anything ready before 2. They did nothing for us for the inconvenience, we were 110bucks from the cabs with nothing to do but sit in a lobby for hours and wait for our next taxi at 230. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never go here again or recommend this

Wrong check-in/checkout information given at reception. Person insisted she was right: she wasn't but I still had to leave an hour before I was due. Room not properly stocked with bathroom and personal items. Even had to ask for a hairdryer. Top dollar charges for bottom drawer product. Go elsewhere.

The worst. I went to the place at 10am and was screamed at by the front desk worker no rooms was ready and come back at 6 am. A big inconvenience since I needed to be dress for a wedding soon.

Total disaster...my second time at this hotel. I would NEVER visit again. They are homeless folks also using the property. I didn't feel safe and they have these folks just walking in the lobby. I did a review a few months ago and didn't see any response from hotelsbyday and as such, believe you really don't care to respond for loosing a potential client. I will never use that facility again. Eagerly awaiting your response..very disappointed

First of all we thought the hotel was a fake. It was all a building site and had to walk the whole way around to see a small sign saying reception. Then when we got to reception the guy who was only training couldn’t find our booking, he said they don’t do day rates, then his senior eventually came out and they had only got our booking by fax that morning.. even though I had booked one month prior. Anyway they found us a room and it all worked out eventually. Was close to the mall and there was a free airport shuttle.

First of all, I love that this dayroom service is available. I was a little confused at first, because my reservation was not found by the hotel, but a Hotels By Day representative sorted it all out and was super helpful. Our hotel room was ready promptly and it was such a trendy, cute place! Would recommend and use myself again!

Watford Hilton was such a beautiful stay! Absolutely clean and fresh room. Immaculate bathroom,the room was clean and tidy , comfortable, airy, stocked with tea, coffee, milk, drinking chocolate. I only used the hotel for day use and I was so happy with my stay. Kind and helpful staff. The whole hotel was spotless. I will definitely use Watford Hilton again

If I could give it no stars I would! The hotel location is very beautiful but the room in front of the pool was dirty and old. If your booking a Dayroom you will not be given any beach front room (hotel policy). On Hotelsby Day website beach front rooms is what is being advertised with pictures but your not getting none of that. Also be ready to pay $26 for mandatory Valet at the front desk and when picking up your car from the Valet being asked again to pay $26. Looking at my bank statement this morning, they charged me 3 x for deposit, resort fee and valet parking.

We rented the room from 10a-4p but weren't able to get into the room until 11am because Hotels By Day did not forward the reservation to the hotel. I had to make multiple calls to the Hotels By Day office who then had to talk to the front desk who then had to talk to the hotel manager who then had to collect my payment information. We did eventually get into the room and it was lovely, but the experience did not start off well. I was definitely disappointed, especially after receiving several confirmation emails. I was sure there would be no problems. Definitely put a damper on our short stay.

The online booking was troublesome because I like to talk to front desk to confirm reservations. I went ahead & did it online & hoped for the best. Sure enough we got to the hotel at 10:30am off a cruise ship, but when I tried to check in the receptionists said they had no rooms available even though I showed them my confirmation. They kept saying checking is at 3 pm, even though I told them it’s a “day stay”. I asked for their manager, who came & tried to say they don’t do that, rooms are being cleaned & not ready till 3pm. She’d not heard of “hotels by day” etc. I asked her to call the number on your confirmation. She spoke to someone & finally got things going. I had a reservation from 10am to 5 pm, but because of the hassle with front desk not working with me we lost an hour of our reservation! I asked for compensation or discount but they refused. They said they will honor our request even though they had no rooms available. I was not impressed with their handling of the whole situation, we were made to feel we invaded their space even though we paid for the room. The room itself was great. We got much needed rest since our flight was not till 7:00 that evening. I hope that we can use this service in future with less stress.

Room was quite small with a squeaky bed. Entry cards stopped working half way through the day so had to be taken back down to reception. Hotel seemed quite nice but I would not stay there for a longer period of time if my experience of the day room was a sample of the other rooms available to book.

Hotel was lovely and I enjoyed my stay, however I have been overcharged and charged twice with no explanation. I have no itemised bill either - so it’s left a sour taste in my mouth. Reservation was 7-5, I arrived at 8 and was told they don't have day rooms for the hours specified. They only have them in 5 hours blocks. I showed my confirmation clearly stating checkin is at 7 and check out at 5 but the manager said they do not offer those hours. They wanted to charge me for the morning block and afternoon block. After a bunch of back and forth, they said they will allow this time only. Also, this was the manager I was dealing with so I'm not sure where the problem is. More than likely will not go back if they will not honor the reservation next time.

The people at the front we’re very nice and the design and feel of the hotel lobby was very sophisticated and cool. However, if the hotel wanted to really stay unique and different from other competitors, I would recommend making sure to have some kind of alert or disclaimer that we would have to make sure to send ahead of time our booking information because hotels by day is not interfaced with the main hotel so they didn’t have my information and unknowingly charged my fiancé when I already paid online who assisted on checking us out while I was packing up my work laptop to leave. I think this causes confusion and also delay to the customer as well as not fair for the staff to be a bit puzzled and not have all the information to perform their duties from the check in and out process. I think if area was improved , I think guests might have a better satisfaction with their experience. Good luck!

The hotel offers rooms that are separate for work and rest. I got a combined setting where I did not feel comfortable with video meetings because the bed was in full view. In addition, the room and floor were not cleaned properly, and the housekeeping staff being disrespectfully loud and having inappropriate conversations outside the room door. I was in the middle of a meeting, and the door was knocked on for checkout when I had the room until 4:00 pm. This will be the last time I would use 48 LEX and may never use hotels by day ever again. I paid extra for a room layout that I never got.

Arrived at the airport, called the hotel to ask specifics and they said sorry we do not provide those services. Ended up ubering to and from the airport, spent more money than I anticipated. We booked 2 rooms at the four point by Sheraton at LAX for our friends who had a 10 hour layover on their way back to Europe. The hotel desk could not find the reservation even though we had reservation numbers and the rooms were paid in advance. My friends do not speak English and they called me in the middle of my night to try and untangle this mess. The front desk kept on saying there was no room available. After 30mns somehow they found a way to honor the reservations. While a great service, there needs to be a much better coordination with hotels. It should not be that hard!

Great stay for a 16 hour layover. I was able to easily walk to the historical center and enjoy a lovely bed. The check in was having a bit of issues on the hotels computer end but they were extremely accommodating. Easy to use, very convenient.

This was the worst experience ever. Booked a week in advance and travelled to the hotel only for them to tell me there is no reservation for my name, and that all rooms are full. I called 3 times before I got a call back, and all they said was they sent the reservation to the wrong email and there was nothing they can do. There are no hotels or motels available anywhere near me, so we are forced to sleep in our car. And for our inconvenience we were offered a 20 dollar credit to the site. Please do not book here. Call the hotel directly and book with them.

Lovely room with balcony, free WiFi lovely comfortable bed. Able to leave cases and go off for a few hours then shower and off to airport for late flight. Would have liked some more creamer for the coffee please.
Room was good and pretty! But I booked it for the day, to get some comfortable rest while our house is being rebuilt. At first it took a lot of time at the reception desk to get the room. It was like we checked in for a whole week. It took al least 15 minutes, maybe 20. Then someone from housekeeping entered the room while I was walking around in my underware. Then someone else from housekeeping knocked on the door while I was a sleep, to bring the hairdryer. They could be more professional about their Day use policy.

I book the room for a daystation while my vehicle was being serviced, book from 8 am -6 pm, got a call that I had to leave the room at 2 pm. Got a little angry, and was about to go and curse out the front desk, since my booking was till 6 pm. While on my way down to the front desk, got a call that my vehicle will be ready at 1 pm. Since that was the case I just left the hotel. Now beside this, the stay itself was amazing, the room was clean, and had a fresh smell. Would definitely do it again, but would want my full time that I paid for.

I was taking a break since I was working remotely from my job so I decided to use a room to finish work and then relax. You need to put down whether it will be an incidental rate will be a part of the rate. I hate that I find out last minute. It is what it is. The bed was too firm for me to lay down but good to work in which is why the rating is in the middle. I stayed at Club Quarters and Delta hotels which their beds were extremely comfortable.

Stay was very nice but there was very poor communication between HOTELSBYDAY and the hotel itself in terms of the reservation
I rented the room for the day and extended it for the evening/night as well. Hotel was located near the airport which was convenient, price was fair, no complaints with the room + a bonus to be able to cast directly to the TV from my phone. Only complaint I have was the fridge was not cleaned out and had Thai Express from god knows when as the fridge smelled

Room was great but main reason was to use the pool. I unfortunately the pool was very warm. Felt like a bath. Was very disappointed. If pool wasn’t heated I’d be back.
Having the day room in Boston was great since we weren’t flying out until the evening. The disappointing part was the extra $25+ fee charged on top of tax for the “destination charge” that I was not made aware of in advance. The booking said $89+tax and nothing about this additional fee. That was a surprise and made our reasonable prices stay much more expensive. I asked the hotel for an explanation and they said since I booked through you, you should have informed me about the charge in advance.

It was great for resting, taking a nap and being able to shower during a long layover in New York. The complementary shuttle was also a plus.
The computers were down when I arrived at my destination, it was so hot and humid I asked for a bottled water but they had none either. Leaving took as long as the registration. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I must have caught them of a bad time. They really try hard when things went sideways. A solid 3 if things were perfect

Room was clean. Someones sheets were left in the hall for the duration of my stay. Was there no laundry hamper housekeeping could have used.? $16.00 extra than anticipated to park in the hotel.

Hotel had an issue finding my booking. It took them almost 30 mins - longest check in ever. The room was adequate. Quiet atmosphere and reliable internet connection for meeting. A good hotel to relax and network while travelling.
The hotel posts that it has shuttle service but it’s extremely limited. Which to me is false advertisement. I was told shuttle service was every 37mins shuttle stops at 9am and resumes around 5pm. Terrible information

I booked a dayroom in Chicago to make the best use of the day between an airbnb checkout and an afternoon flight home. The experience of finding a hotel, setting up a booking, and redeeming the points (in a web browser on a computer) was uncommonly smooth. I went in expecting rough edges, but no, the user experience is right up there with the biggest booking platforms. Maybe even better than some, which get bloated with upsells. Wonderful work on that! They dayroom was great! The Club Quarters at Wacker/Michigan was awesome except for an out-of-service elevator that made getting to/from the room slow at times. I was able to meditate, do some billable work, and not think about my bags when ducking out for a last-minute lunch with an old colleague. Peace and quiet are precious luxuries in the middle of a big city. I'm glad that Hotels By Day exists.

Funny. This London hotel gets plenty of bookings from us. It's possibly caused by the post-Covid new staff that sometime can act a bit clueless... It's temporary. We almost did not get a room for the day despite our reservation with my credit card because the first receptionist we spoke with was very rude and quite frankly unaware that we had already reserved a room, saying check-in began at 4pm when we arrived around 11am. Another receptionist knew about the day use room option at the hotel and kindly set us up with a room. However, the price was much higher than what Hotels by Day said it would amount to. The customer service was poor, but my partner and I managed to enjoy our stay in the room and time at the waterfront.

The staff was amazing! The room was clean and perfect to let the kids rest and shower after a long day at the pool and beach. Chairs on the beach with an umbrella was perfect with the kids!!
I stayed at the Goodtime Hotel in Miami Beach. Chic, clean, modern hotel with with a great atmosphere. You feel relaxed from the moment you walk in the door. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, from parking valet, concierge staff, Restaurant and bar staff as well as the cleaning staff I encountered, I felt welcome and respected during all my interactions. Special shout out to Pablo and Chad from the front desk. The hotel as well maintained amenities, with a bar, resturant, cafe, outdoor gym, pool and patio. It’s also great value for money considering the location. 100% would recommend!

​It was a great experience. We arrived before the 10 a.m. check in time and were told to go and have breakfast while we waited for a room. The room they gave us was fantastic so we were able to just relax, have a stroll around the grounds and by the pool and it was such a pleasant way to spend the day. Our flight was at 9 p.m. so it all worked out really well, much better than spending it in a crowded airport. The staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely do this again. Well worth the money.

Needed
a spot to prep for an out of state meeting mid-day. Did not need to
stay overnight, just needed a place to prep and relax. Will use
HotelsByDay again. I was treated just like a regular overnight guest.
Staff was friendly and accommodating.

​Nice service. I was pleased to have a place to spend the day while work was being done in my house. I didn't want to bother my friends from 9-5, so it worked out well. I do wish I had the option of choosing my hours, however. It worked out, but I could have used an additional hour, but the hotel staff said they couldn't extend the time by that long.

The hotel accommodation was a disgrace. They charge for parking, the desk clerk was very rude and they hold on to a $75 deposit which they say won't return to your account for 5-7 days. Very disappointed.

Have been a regular user of the day use. Staff is friendly and nice but the check in system is very slow. They have to get an email from the back office, and if sometimes noone is there, the guest has to wait as long as 30 to 60 min. The other thing is the $25 resort free they charge - which is absolutely a ripoff. This is not a resort hotel and they provide nothing for it. This should be included in the price of the hotel and put upfront. Otherwise, hotel is old but nice enough and convenient location

All went as planned, room was cleaner everything worked it was Thanksgiving, so there were football game on, the TV had a little mishap. I try to straightened iit out had to go in back of it and reposition the HDMI cord because somebody left it undone, and then the remote didn’t work and we got one from the front desk, all in all nice decent day we do it again

On my first visit to Shade Manhattan Beach, CA, the room was not ready at the reserved time, even though my reservation was in their system. On my second visit, they claimed that the room was not confirmed and there was no room available. The RUDE front-desk person eventually contacted the manager, and after an hour wait, they eventually found a room. Hotels by Day needs to drop this property as a client. I will not use Shade Manhattan Beach, CA ever again. I should have learned from my first experience with them. This was not the relaxing day experience I wanted.

At the time of check-in, I was told to wait 30mins because there are no rooms available. What's the point of asking your expected time when you can't even get the room avaible at the check-in time to begin with. Once I came back, there was gentleman who also booked a day use and was told the same thing - to wait. Finally after 42minutes, I was able to get my room.

I paid for the room in advance, so I reserved the room. After arriving, the hotel people told me they overbooked the room. So I had to wait more than one hour to get to my room. Next time, I will just go to pastime to a Starbucks or get a cheaper hotel. These guys are not very serious about their compromise. Avenue Of The Arts Hotel can not be trusted.

Check in took extra time as they needed to re-enter it in to their system, elevators are very slow and too little capacity for hotel size and then they billed my card 20% more than Hotels by the Day quoted. Room was clean and pleasant so giving 3 stars for that.

The worst part of our 8 week holiday was this experience at the Best Western property. A horrible hotel, can’t believe any rating agency would have a property like this on their books. After checking in, our big mistake, we booked a trip to the airport on the 4pm shuttle. The room we were in was so bad, we actually took the 1pm shuttle to escape!!! We’re are meeting our travel agent tomorrow and we will make sure she does not use your company ever again.

Hotel stay at Hyatt Regency Harbor was fine. The room was clean and the area quite close to Logan International Airport. Apparently, there is a free shuttle between hotel and airport but booking confirmation made no mention on this. Breakfast buffet is available at USD27 but I find the selection quite limited though. Our biggest issue for our stay was that the hotel charged us for our stay even though payment was already processed by hotelsbyday.com. After calling customer service, we got email that the amount charged by hotel will be refunded... but it will take 3-5 days. Hope that hotelsbyday.com could ensure that this process is ironed out as guests have limited hours to enjoy their stay but instead have to spend valuable time following-up on this.

Whilst the room was great, the check-in and check-out process at the hotel was appalling. On arrival our reservation was not easily found, and whilst we had paid for this hotel in full via Hotelsbyday, we were held at check-in for more than 30 minutes whilst the hotel tried to verify we had in fact paid. Even the manager needed to get involved all whilst our dayroom hours were ticking away. They eventually allowed us to go to the room, still not fully convinced we had paid for our reservation. On attempt to check-out, an issue of unpaid taxes now became an issue, notwithstanding we had paid for the room and all the taxes in advance via Hotelsby day. This also became an issue that required a manager to come and resolve, again 20 minutes waiting for agreement that we had in fact paid in full. These unnecessary administration matters overshadowed what was a very nice hotel room for day use and would have been completely fit for purpose had all these other annoying issues did not occur. If the hotel is at fault, then they should consider having staff understand that not all guests choose to book directly with a hotel, and if they cant figure the proper administration of such reservations, then dont advertise with booking sites. If hotelsbyday failed to do their job correctly here and caused us the inconvenience, then get your act together in a highly competitive market....as consumers, we have lots of choices, a situation I'm sure you would be aware of and want to fix.

It seemed like it would work, but the hotel staff at the Double Tree hotel didn't seem to know what the voucher was. We sat in the lobby for an hour after a tiring all night flight. By 9 30, we were having to insist on getting a room, but we're told that no room had yet been cleaned. After a bit of insisting, we got our room, but the advertised 9 to 5 didn't happen. Then, on checkout, a much larger bill was presented... essentially the normal rate. So the process didn't work. We likely won't use this service again

Unexpectedly long transit, searched for day rooms and found this site and this excellent offer - and a twin room which is sometimes hard to find. 15 mins from the airport, friendly welcome, spacious room with good blackout curtains and comfortable beds and pillows. Fell asleep in seconds! When we woke up had a coffee, good and strong shower and left. Good size walk-in shower with nice shampoo and bodywash provided, plus a shaving kit and toothbrush. All that we needed for a half day (midday to 7pm), comfortable, spacious and a friendly welcome and goodbye.

I own a restaurant so I know what it is like running a business, and I'd like to highlight a fault with your operation. I booked a dayroom for a special occasion with my wife and when I went to check in, I had asked the receptionist for a DoubleTree cookie, which is what I thought was a unique quirk of your brand and a *thing* the DoubleTree brand was known for doing... handing out a cookie to customers. I was rudely told that Daytime customers don't get cookies. Now if the guy said "sorry we're out of cookies" I would not have cared in the slightest. But for someone to tell me, as a paying customer, that "No you can't have a cookie because you are a daytime customer and not a nighttime customer", is honestly a terrible look on your brand. It's not about the cookie, it's about the principle. It's one thing to not mention or offer the cookie to everyone, but when someone ASKS for one, (because it is quite frankly one of the only things I knew about your brand), and then denying them the cookie because they purchased one type of stay over a different one, it's not likely they will decide to book again. Hope this review gets read but someone in management that actually understands basic common sense when it comes to business and branding.

This was not good. I have stayed in Westins in Capetown and Vegas and those were exeptional hotels. Here the bed linnen was stained, the were blood marks on the towels and in the bathroom there were so many black hairs I could make a wig. Very disappointing.

The room was spacious, clean and quiet, what you would expect from a budget hotel. We also appreciated the onsite restaurant and fitness centre. My biggest issue was with the airport shuttle. I followed the instructions provided by the hotel for requesting the airport shuttle and called the hotel upon arrival using the airport phone. Despite saying that the shuttle would arrive in 20 minutes, it took over 1 hour and 3 phone calls for the shuttle to arrive! Another gentleman had been waiting over 1.5 hours for the shuttle despite also calling the hotel numerous times. The receptionist at the hotel was kind and provided a complimentary buffet breakfast voucher for 2 people for the inconvienience but it was still very unpleasant to be waiting outside in almost freezing temperatures for over 1 hour!

I was charged a parking fee of 55$ although i specifically stated verbatum "I dont have the money to pay for parking, do you have free street parking" She told me to park in #1. This is underneath the the L. Certainly wasnt any special parking. Also hidden fee of deposit which you only get half back. Otherwise hotel was clean, had a community kitchenette downstair which was cool.

Despite calling and speaking with the manager at the Doubletree to reconfirm after booking with HotelsbyTheDay that I need a roomf rom 3-6, I got there and was told by the same manager that nothing was available till 4 pm! You need to figure out your integration with their booking policies MUCH better. The room was fine, but the process was a mess!

Check in/out was as easy as it could have been. To save on money, the hotel had the heat turned off. So the room was freezing when I walked in. Overall, it was nice, but the pictures used on the site do not match the actual room you get. You will not get a balcony, or a large window. But you will get a king size bed and a lot of space. I made it work for what I needed it for.

Even though the hotel was lovely, there was no booking via Hotels By Day. They had never heard of the site and the reference number did not correspond to any booking on their side. The HBD website says to reach out to them on FB messenger if I was having issues checking in , which I did. 7 hours later, I got this response "You can reach us at [email protected] or book directly on our website."

Then, considering it was a dayroom to sleep, the cleaner knocked on the door, waking me, to ask what time I was leaving!!! When I told them at reception as I checked out they just said sorry!

Courtyard by Marriott Long Island City doesn't honor the fee that is stated here for the room, when booking through this site $143.92. They charge flat fee of $170 every time. The room is great though.

Front desk service isn’t as nice as they used to be. Even after calling to let them know, I had made a reservation through hotels by day I was told there weren’t any rooms available. Front desk agent finally found my reservation and said it would be ready by the time I arrived. She still had an attitude, was not pleasant, and seemed to be in a rush, despite there being no one else at the front desk behind me. Restaurant is closed despite advertising otherwise. Other than that the rooms are OK and they serve their purpose for working conditions when I have my laptop with me WiFi could be better.

Room was very nice, a nice, clean place to stay for the day with a late evening flight. Would have had 4 stars if the shuttle had left us off at check-in area of American instead of in a parking lot 3 lanes of highway away and not know where to go. Me, an 82 year old with a 89 yr old husband with a walker, 2 large bags and 2 small. If I had known, would have taken a cab. Very bad experience . Don't know why the driver didn't advice us ahead of time. He could see we couldn't walk well. Booking with Hoteld By Day worked out otherwise to our satisfaction.

Hotel we paid for did not have room ready. Had to wait and said hotels by day should not tell people you can have room at 10 am. Was extremely stressful and ruined an amazing holiday we had beforehand! I had put instructions about curtesy bus too that was never actioned. Wont book again!

Hi Lesley. This Miami airport property receives hundreds of bookings from us per week, all starting at 10am... so it is baffling to read that they accused us of something wrong. We therefore immediately unpublished this property and launched an investigation by reaching out to their executives. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
If I could give negative stars I would. We had a group of 6 adults and a baby so We took 2 taxis to the hotel from port of Miami around 10am totaling about $110 just to find out “they had no rooms available until after 2” we were suppose to be able to check in at 10am.. also they could not find either of our reservations I booked through this site and the others were booked directly with the hotel. But said they were sold out the night before and it was not possible to have anything ready before 2. They did nothing for us for the inconvenience, we were 110bucks from the cabs with nothing to do but sit in a lobby for hours and wait for our next taxi at 230. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never go here again or recommend this

Wrong check-in/checkout information given at reception. Person insisted she was right: she wasn't but I still had to leave an hour before I was due. Room not properly stocked with bathroom and personal items. Even had to ask for a hairdryer. Top dollar charges for bottom drawer product. Go elsewhere.

The worst. I went to the place at 10am and was screamed at by the front desk worker no rooms was ready and come back at 6 am. A big inconvenience since I needed to be dress for a wedding soon.

Total disaster...my second time at this hotel. I would NEVER visit again. They are homeless folks also using the property. I didn't feel safe and they have these folks just walking in the lobby. I did a review a few months ago and didn't see any response from hotelsbyday and as such, believe you really don't care to respond for loosing a potential client. I will never use that facility again. Eagerly awaiting your response..very disappointed

First of all we thought the hotel was a fake. It was all a building site and had to walk the whole way around to see a small sign saying reception. Then when we got to reception the guy who was only training couldn’t find our booking, he said they don’t do day rates, then his senior eventually came out and they had only got our booking by fax that morning.. even though I had booked one month prior. Anyway they found us a room and it all worked out eventually. Was close to the mall and there was a free airport shuttle.

First of all, I love that this dayroom service is available. I was a little confused at first, because my reservation was not found by the hotel, but a Hotels By Day representative sorted it all out and was super helpful. Our hotel room was ready promptly and it was such a trendy, cute place! Would recommend and use myself again!

Watford Hilton was such a beautiful stay! Absolutely clean and fresh room. Immaculate bathroom,the room was clean and tidy , comfortable, airy, stocked with tea, coffee, milk, drinking chocolate. I only used the hotel for day use and I was so happy with my stay. Kind and helpful staff. The whole hotel was spotless. I will definitely use Watford Hilton again

If I could give it no stars I would! The hotel location is very beautiful but the room in front of the pool was dirty and old. If your booking a Dayroom you will not be given any beach front room (hotel policy). On Hotelsby Day website beach front rooms is what is being advertised with pictures but your not getting none of that. Also be ready to pay $26 for mandatory Valet at the front desk and when picking up your car from the Valet being asked again to pay $26. Looking at my bank statement this morning, they charged me 3 x for deposit, resort fee and valet parking.

We rented the room from 10a-4p but weren't able to get into the room until 11am because Hotels By Day did not forward the reservation to the hotel. I had to make multiple calls to the Hotels By Day office who then had to talk to the front desk who then had to talk to the hotel manager who then had to collect my payment information. We did eventually get into the room and it was lovely, but the experience did not start off well. I was definitely disappointed, especially after receiving several confirmation emails. I was sure there would be no problems. Definitely put a damper on our short stay.

The online booking was troublesome because I like to talk to front desk to confirm reservations. I went ahead & did it online & hoped for the best. Sure enough we got to the hotel at 10:30am off a cruise ship, but when I tried to check in the receptionists said they had no rooms available even though I showed them my confirmation. They kept saying checking is at 3 pm, even though I told them it’s a “day stay”. I asked for their manager, who came & tried to say they don’t do that, rooms are being cleaned & not ready till 3pm. She’d not heard of “hotels by day” etc. I asked her to call the number on your confirmation. She spoke to someone & finally got things going. I had a reservation from 10am to 5 pm, but because of the hassle with front desk not working with me we lost an hour of our reservation! I asked for compensation or discount but they refused. They said they will honor our request even though they had no rooms available. I was not impressed with their handling of the whole situation, we were made to feel we invaded their space even though we paid for the room. The room itself was great. We got much needed rest since our flight was not till 7:00 that evening. I hope that we can use this service in future with less stress.

Room was quite small with a squeaky bed. Entry cards stopped working half way through the day so had to be taken back down to reception. Hotel seemed quite nice but I would not stay there for a longer period of time if my experience of the day room was a sample of the other rooms available to book.

Hotel was lovely and I enjoyed my stay, however I have been overcharged and charged twice with no explanation. I have no itemised bill either - so it’s left a sour taste in my mouth. When I first got there, I told them I had pre-paid and they couldn’t find that either so I stood in reception for 45 minutes waiting for them to figure it out before I could even go to my room after 9 hours of travelling.

Reservation was 7-5, I arrived at 8 and was told they don't have day rooms for the hours specified. They only have them in 5 hours blocks. I showed my confirmation clearly stating checkin is at 7 and check out at 5 but the manager said they do not offer those hours. They wanted to charge me for the morning block and afternoon block. After a bunch of back and forth, they said they will allow this time only. Also, this was the manager I was dealing with so I'm not sure where the problem is. More than likely will not go back if they will not honor the reservation next time.

The people at the front we’re very nice and the design and feel of the hotel lobby was very sophisticated and cool. However, if the hotel wanted to really stay unique and different from other competitors, I would recommend making sure to have some kind of alert or disclaimer that we would have to make sure to send ahead of time our booking information because hotels by day is not interfaced with the main hotel so they didn’t have my information and unknowingly charged my fiancé when I already paid online who assisted on checking us out while I was packing up my work laptop to leave. I think this causes confusion and also delay to the customer as well as not fair for the staff to be a bit puzzled and not have all the information to perform their duties from the check in and out process.
