There was going planned water outage, 12-3:30 pm, for most of the time I was there. My booking was for 10:00am-6:00pm. If I was notified of the water outage, I would have changed my stay to another day and make different plans. I was not notified until I was already checking in. It was useless to let me know when I was checking in. I like to soak in the tubs when I stay in. And with the water outage, it was just impossible. And then I had to plan for using the toilet.

The only reason that I gave this hotel two stars is because of the staff and the location - they are the saving grace for this hotel. This hotel is outdated, not cleaned thoroughly, holes in walls, it really was not a good stay. I only used two hours of my 6 hour time. I couldn't take it.

Debris/paint coming off the walls, no A/C in a cramped and dingy gym; elevator out of order, dysfunctional shower and general lack of standard.

Dirty, sticky floors and a dusty sofa made the room feel unhygienic. Everything looked extremely old, and there was a persistent bad smell in the corridors. No proper restaurant—just a small café serving extremely overpriced, terrible food. Definitely not worth the money.

The check-in process was easy, and the staff were all incredibly kind. The hotel was booked solid, and overall has good reviews. That being said I believe the rooms that are set aside as “day use” aren’t up to the same standards as the others. The room we were given was clean in appearance, but very dated. The carpet, walls and curtains were holding on to years of a musty smoke smell, so much so that we had to open the window the entire stay, and it only helped a smidge. The pictures of the hotel on this site to do not match the quality of the day use room. The other rooms have more modern appliances, updated carpet, etc. I would book again for a day use room bc it is the only day use option in the state, but it’s a huge bummer that this room isn’t the same quality as the others in the hotel.

I paid my stay upfront, while booking it through Hotels By The Day. At check in, the Hotel asked for my credit card, for guarantee purposes, which is pretty usual in most hotels. The charges were not reversed when I checked out, and to this day I haven't receive any feedback from the hotel, despite my multiple attempts, even through the IHG Customer Service. All in all, as of now, I have paid my stay in double. That is not good!

Rooms spotless,BUT .arrived at the hotel for 0800 check in,,but the receptionist said check ing starts at 1500,,told her a had day room booked but she said the hotel was full !!and to wait for the manager to arrive ,at approximately 0930 got a room..arrived home got a charge on my credit card for £10.22 for what?? Not a clue,,and hotel pending charge still not put back on to my card £186.32. Stayed on Sunday 22 of June

I've stayed at this hotel many times and it is usually great. This time, on the hottest day of the year, the air conditioning wasn't working! The room was 70 degrees when I checked in at 10 am so I didn't notice at first. By noon it was 81. I called the front desk, I was told they were at capacity and there was nothing they could do. I was told to turn of the thermostat to allow it to unfreeze. I did this as the temperature creeped up to 87 degrees by 4 pm. I took a cold shower which helped. At 4 pm the air-conditioning finally started working. By the time I checked out at 6 pm it was 75 degrees. I spent most of my staycation melting in misery. I thought maybe I'd be offered a discount on my next stay or something but just got a simple "I'm sorry".

Hotel is old, tired and worn out. Front staff is nearly hostile. Elevator has a flashing error light that is ignored. A lot of deferred maintenance everywhere. There are better hotels in the area at a lower cost.

I could have given a 3 or even 4 ratings but due to its security deposit of $100 and I have not received a refund that makes me wonder. A day room stay of $170 and I have to pay another $100 advanced deposit!

Great price, The room was nice (for the price), the hotel overall was par for the cost, but the lady up front was awkward and literally took 25+ minutes to check me in. She had no idea how to check me in and I gave a half hour of my life to waiting for her to figure it out. She didn't apologize or acknowledge the wait on top of it. Put a bad taste on my mouth to try this app again if that is going to happen each time.
