Airport shuttle service very poor
Room basic but clean. Reception staff friendly even though we were kept waiting to check in. Airport shuttle bus booked at time of check in but had to ask a second time where it was as 15 mins later than time booked to take us to the airport there was still no sign of the driver even though the bus was sitting outside the lobby. Another passenger had been left waiting at the airport over an hour for the driver, when mentioned to the driver he didnt apologise or even aknowledge the nad service. while on route to the airport the driver stopped for a chat with someone he knew for over 15 mins while he left us sitting in the bus. Poor service, if the airport shuttle draws you to book this hotel don't bother.

Hotel was booked for day use rest. They placed us in a room right by the elevators which was noisy. TV’s weren’t set up. Reluctantly moved us into a quiet spot but wasted time. Couldn’t get room service food, they don’t serve in the afternoon which meant ordering in. None of this was relaxing

The Mercure Bloomsbury hotel room was nice & the staff very helpful but they had no record of my booking with hotelsbyday.com. In future, I’ll book directly with the hotel.

After working nights needed quiet room. Ok until the 11am fire alarm test and the door knock telling me to check out at 12.30 when I had the day booked.
Bed was awesome though.

The room itself was perfectly adequate for our needs but our stay was let down by the lift situation. Only one of two lifts working, which was small. Took ages to get a lift, we must have waited fifteen minutes to get our luggage down when we checked out, and during the day there was such a long queue we eventually took the stairs - we were on the tenth floor which was manageable but the hotel has thirty-six floors!

The booking process through you was excellent. However, on arrival at the Dilly, they had no record of my booking! Fortunately, I was able to show them the confirmation email from you, and they made a new reservation for the day. This was a huge relief but could have been a disaster if my booking was lost or never made. The feature to show the booking details, including the email addresses you had sent the booking to, was therefore vital. Knowing that I could even contact you if they refused my booking, was even more assuring. I would not book again without these two features. When we finally got to our room, the door card didn't work but this was probably just one of those things. The day was wonderful and a brilliant way to spend my special anniversary treat with my wife.

Room was not ready at the 10am booking as promised. Had to wait in lobby 10-15 mins. Still charged me full price with no offer of partial refund. Room was clean.

The room itself was fine. I selected this hotel so that my family and I could utilize the pool only to find out that the pool was not operational. Such a disappointment and waste of money

Room was nice. The front desk check in person was sort of rude and the cleaning person literally standing outside the door (still checked out 15 mins early) scared me. There are better days hotels. Choose those ones

Room was not ready until 2 hours after booking started for our family of 4. Had to request for sheets and extra pillows for the pull-out bed. Also had to request for extra towels. Staff was responsive. The loss in time meant we had less time to rest.
