We had to check out of our hotel in Playa del Carmen but our flight home out of Cancun was in the evening. It was so nice to go somewhere that we could hang out at and know our luggge was safe with us. We took a nap, swam, ordered room service, showered and got refreshed before a long flight home. It was perfect. I’m so glad there is an option to use a room for a day.

Stayed there many times in the past year, but this time they charged $23 of security deposit for nothing.... Opened dispute for this fraudulent transaction.

Poor in every way from check-in staff, bar staff and room. The hotel had a power cut when we arrived, was taken up to a room which wasn’t finished being cleaned, weren’t given a room key. The room was old, musty and in need of a total refurb, dirty torn carpets and a dirty bathroom. Ordered lunch at the pool bar and the service from the barman was rude, abrupt and unprofessional. The only positive point was the shuttle service & driver. Not worth the money considering we were charged $151 for the privilege!!!

Room was clean and spacious. The employees were fantastic. Very friendly. Gym was large, and had a decent selection of equipment. Not sure why the pool was closed as it looked to be fine but at least we were given a notice about it when we booked. However, we were not informed that the restaurant would be closed for lunch as the hours posted clearly stated it should have been open. That was the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

This hotel is older and definitely not updated. The room I was in didn’t have a working deadbolt, but thank goodness it had a chain because someone (assuming housekeeping) knocked on my door and opened it!

The hotel can not find my reservation! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! They got me a nice room. Around 12 noon housekeeping kept knocking on my door!!! My day room was from 8 am to 8 pm! I was interrupted while trying to sleep.

So sorry about what happened - that's definitely frustrating. Day-use bookings are handled through a different system than overnight stays, which can sometimes cause confusion at the front desk, and housekeeping schedules don’t always reflect day-room hours.

It was a good and neat room, great for a day use. But upon checking in, the receptionist told me that I wasn’t even booked and they didn’t acknowledge the booking number. He literally registered me again in their system, which was alright, and got the same price rate. The cleaner literally knocked the door even I put a “do not disturb sign” and confused why the room still occupied even we are booked to check out at 6pm. It wasn’t bad at all for a day use. I happily recommend it for those seeking an escape for a day.

Friendly staff and worked hard to be helpful. Only downside was the hotel was rehabbed and some trim areas, like floor moldings, are looking a little worn

First of all room was lovely and spacious so no complaints re size and cleanliness. However upon check in I was told Tv might not work and no idea when it would be working. Unfortunate but not much we could do and not the receptionist fault. I was looking forward to using pool for a few hours before a long flight and was told sorry pool unavailable and this was main reason we booked this. Then it took 4 trips back to reception to get the key to work. Then once in room the wifi did not work. So the facilities I needed I didn’t get any of them extremely annoyed paying $130 and not getting anything we expected. Even if it was for day use.

The check in was a little slow. The room was perfect and was everything we needed. The main issue was with the shuttle bus to the airport which was supposed to run every 20 minutes but we were kept waiting for 40 along with some airline crew as there was only 1 driver available.

I was given a no-show when I did show up on time and the staff was incredibly rude and cancelled my room by the time I showed up. It also costed me an expensive cab ride and had to call another one.
