Hotel Description

Day use guests at the Manhattan at Times Square Hotel are presented with a combination of modern energy and New York City’s historic style. The art deco hotel is in the heart of the theater district, close to Times Square and Central Park, and within easy reach of countless other attractions in the Big Apple.

Neighborhood

  • Global Menu – One of the nearest dining options is Le Bernardin, where French style and seafood meet in a menu by chef Eric Ripert. If Japanese is more your thing then sake, ramen, and more can be found at Ippudo Westside, with Thai treats available at Pure Thai Cookhouse. Haute cuisine and fine views of Central Park are served up at Jean-Georges, with a Scandinavian selection at Aquavit, where the high end fare is accompanied by Nordic minimalist décor.

  • Broadway and Times Square – The hotel is in the heart of the theater district, where fans of live performances can indulge whatever they desire, from tragedy to comedy and plays old and new. Times Square is conveniently close, with shopping opportunities aplenty and innumerable restaurants for once the browsing is done.

  • Central Park – Central Park is a short distance to the north, and a fine place to escape the urban jungle. A little light exercise can be had just by strolling the large park, but it’s also full of attractions if you’re feeling more energetic. There’s a small zoo, close to the historic landmark of The Arsenal. Along the east edge of the park the artistically inclined can find numerous galleries, including The Frick Collection, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Guggenheim. On the west, there’s the American Museum of Natural History, and there’s Belvedere Castle in the middle.
