  • Botanic and Water Gardens – The verdant Fort Worth Botanic Garden covers more than 110 acres, including the highly popular Japanese garden. It’s an ideal place to relax and unwind, with an alternative being the Fort Worth Water Gardens, an urban park featuring waterfalls, pools, and fountains.

  • Fort Worth Zoo – Just across the river is the Fort Worth Zoo, where more than 7,000 animals from exotic climes and closer to home can be found. There’s a variety of themed habitats, and you may have the opportunity to feed the giant giraffes, or even pet stingrays.
