Upon check in, the lack of discretion was frustrating. Nurermous times the check in clerk who was training a new hire repeated, "she is a day use"...or "mark this because she uses hotelsbyday". Once I entered the room, the AC was extremely loud. I called the front desk and was told maintenence would come look at it later. I wanted it fixed sooner rather than later. After 15 minutes and no maintenence, I called the front desk again and asked to be moved to another room. I was told there were no other rooms. In the mean time, maintenence showed up and right away he said he would need tonreplace the AC unit which could take roughly 20 minutes. I thiught that was rather quickly to install a new AC, but seeing as I only needed the room for 3 hiura, it was a good chunck of time. I called the front desk and was told I should wait the 20ish minutes. It wasnt until I was upset that I was offered a new room. Once I returned to the lobby, I got a new room as a "day use" customer. The AC in the new room was much quieter but did not turn on as I had set the thermostat to 72 degrees and the room became warm. I spent close to an hour dealing with the AC issue. The hotel was clean.
