Hotel Description

Hyatt House Jersey City has day use rooms just minutes from Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. There’s free parking and Wi-Fi at the pet-friendly hourly rooms, and the tourist attractions of the Big Apple are a short commute away. Whether you’re into museums, shopping, architecture or the theater, NYC has all you could ask for.

Neighborhood

  • Eclectic Eateries – There are dozens of dining establishments near the hotel door, including sushi and noodle specialist Honshu. The Satis Bistro offers charming rustic surroundings and a menu of European fare, wine, and a patio. There’s upscale surroundings and Italian classic dishes at Porto Leggero, whereas Bistro La Source serves up French cuisine including steak frites and mussels.

  • Liberty Science Center – Close to the hotel is Liberty Science Center, a museum covering four floors and a dozen galleries brimming with interactive scientific exhibits. The site also has an IMAX Theater and is a great place for budding boffins, whether young or old.

  • Statue of Liberty – Perhaps the single most iconic of the city’s attractions, the Statue of Liberty has been standing watch over the Big Apple for well over a century. Today there’s a museum and gift shop adjoining this timeless emblem of freedom and democracy.

  • Amazing Architecture – The Empire State Building is an art deco inspiration from the 1930s, star of countless silver screen classics and a prime attraction in the heart of Manhattan. There are two observation decks, on the 86th and 102nd floors, affording spectacular city views, as well as exhibits about the building and its history. Not far off there’s also the beautiful Chrysler Building, and the home of Spiderman’s Daily Bugle: the Flatiron.
