  • Reid Park Zoo – Reid Park Zoo is close to the hotel door, and provides visitors with a walk on the wild side. The furry, scaly, and thick-skinned residents number in the hundreds and vary from the cute and dinky otters to enormous elephants and grizzly bears.

  • Sabino Canyon – To the north-east is the Sabino Canyon, an enormous national forest ideal for people who love being surrounded by the serenity of nature. You can take a tram ride through the stunning scenery, or, if you’re feeling more energetic, take advantage of the hiking trails to get some exercise and soak in the picturesque views.

  • Museums – There’s quite the assortment of museums within easy reach of the day rooms, including Fort Lowell Museum, a historic cavalry outpost on a former Native American village.
