Person at front desk was rude. He stated since I made the reservation was made on this website he did not have to honor it. So I did not stay. I called Hilton and told them about this and another matter. I will never stay at this hotel.

The pool wasn’t heated as mentioned, even the shower by the pool wasn’t cold. I did not enjoy, and left after 5 minutes.

Beds were not very good and rooms are outdated. Staff were helpful and very responsive. Nice lobby bar area and food was good. Gated hotel area with nice views outside .

Service was solid, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was near several walkable restaurants - perfect for waiting for a late flight after a cruise.

We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. The room service was excellent. The pizzas we had were some of the best we've ever tasted.

The staff was very friendly. The carpet in the room had not been vacuumed as there were multiple pieces of dirt from the sole of shoes throughout the living room area.

The processing was smooth and quick. The room nice and clean. After check-out I have discovered that the rate was higher comparing with the reservation: USD168.35 vs USD140 (booking rate) before the taxes. Finally, the total amount was USD196.05 including all the taxes.

Process was smooth and simple, room was available on arrival and hotel even able to accommodate an extra hour on check out time. Excellent room type provided and great for relaxing before late night flight.

They had first some difficulties finding our reservation. We were too early and so rested in the lobby. More than 30 minutes earlier we were allowed to go into the room. Big, clean, silent. Friendly staff. Only the small restaurant only opens for breakfast. Shuttle also great.

Hi Cengiz. Thank you for taking the time to review your day use experience at the Courtyard By Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Century Boulevard. Indeed, attempting to check-in sooner than the negotiated early check-in time set by HotelsByDay is a bit tricky, as you can imagine that the natural operation flow of a hotel is to check-in at 3pm.  So any sooner than that can be difficult for a property, and sooner still than what they expect from a HotelsByDay guest is short of impossible for our partners. But thank you dearly for being so patient, kind, and in a good disposition to understand the physical limitations of early check-ins and taking it in stride! We are very happy that you ended up able to rest and take a good day break!  Thank you Cengiz!

The booking process was simple however when I arrived at the hotel, I was advised that Hotels by Day has canceled my reservation and the room is not ready. I showed them the booking confirmation email and the check in/out times. Luckily I had an email from the Millennium Hotel representative who gave me the hotel confirmation number. I showed that email to the person at the check in counter and they told me it will take at least an hour to get the room ready. It was a bit of an inconvenience!

Hello Faisal. Thank you so much for your review. We are so sorry to read that the partner property has given you trouble of checking-in. And to then tell you that HotelsByDay has canceled your booking is very unfair (!) as we never cancelled the booking. I suspect that the front desk staff told you that to take off the pressure of guaranteeing you the room at the proper check-in time. Thank God, our booking confirmation system has given you an extra tool for you to validate the day use booking and to force the hotel staff to honor your stay. Regretfully an hour late... We will most definitely contact the hotel staff to check what happened so that it never happens again, and we thank you dearly for your most appreciated patience and kind disposition with this snafu.  God bless.

It was difficult to control the water temperature in the shower in the room. It was either freezing or scorching hot.

hello Omri.  Thank you for your review.  We passed on the info to the hotel and hope that they correct it for future guests. Yet, personally speaking, I think I know what you're talking about: the shower system in France, with the little red button underneath the knob, is difficult to understand and has burned/froze me as well more than once!  Here I was thinking I was the only one :)
