Queen Charlotte Armoury is an ideal museum for the military-minded, and is home to exhibits about the Prince Edward Island Regiment. The 1834 Georgian mansion of the Lieutenant Governor has become Fanningbank/Government House, which offers tours through summer.

Prince Edward Island is the setting of Anne of Green Gables.
