Hotel Description

Novotel Toronto Vaughan is a great place for day rooms within easy reach of numerous attractions. Within the hotel there’s free Wi-Fi, on-site dining, and a fitness centre/pool. Out and about there are nearby restaurants and all the delights of Toronto, including the aquarium, reptile centre, and Casa Loma, an ancient castle and site of many a film shoot.

  • Range of Restaurants – Italian delights including pizza, pasta, and more, are yours to try at 255 By Alta Rossa Ristorante, or if you want to try a rotating regional menu served in a rustic chic setting then pay Giro D’Italia Ristorante a visit. There’s a selection of Asian styles with a core of Vietnamese cuisine at Pho Friendly 18, whilst Truly Thai Cuisine’s dishes include seafood and vegetarian options.

  • Canada’s Wonderland – Canada’s Wonderland is just a short way from the hourly rooms, and provides visitors with over 200 amusement park rides. There are stomach-churning rollercoasters and a water park, and it can be a great way to distract the children (or yourself) during a day stay.

  • Marine and Reptilian Wildlife – Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is an expansive wildlife attraction featuring a wide range of habitats and species from beneath the waves. Stingrays, sharks, crabs, sea turtles, and jellyfish all reside in the depths, and there’s an entrancing tunnel where the marine creatures swim all around you. Close to the hotel doors, just north-east, there’s also Reptilia Vaughan, a reptilian and amphibian centre that hosts daily shows and is home to alligators, tortoises, and crocodiles.

  • Casa Loma – Delve into the past at Casa Loma, an 18th century castle surrounded by beautiful gardens and featuring a hidden secret passage. Today it’s a widely accessible museum, with stunning views from the top of the Norman Tower. It’s also been used for filming a variety of movies, allowing guests to walk in the footsteps of the X-Men, amongst others.
