Located in the heart of Tel Aviv, Lighthouse by Brown Hotels is just a short walk away from various daycation attractions, including the beach. The hotel occupies several floors of the Migdalor (‘Lighthouse’) tower, and is a great place for both leisure and business travellers to stay.
Culinary Convenience – It doesn’t get much more convenient than hopping in a lift to go out for a meal, but day guests can do just that when they ride high to the 18th floor to visit the Haiku Skybar and enjoy a cocktail of panoramic views and sushi. Alternative dining options in the vicinity include dumpling restaurant Hong Kong Dim Sum, gastropub Ha-Geula Bar, and Jachnun Mul Hayam.
Sun, Sea, and Sand – Tel Aviv Beach is within walking distance of the hotel, for those who love to bask in the sun, or go swimming. The beach has plenty of shade in which to cool off, and numerous restaurants close at hand to slake your thirst. With the Opera Tower shopping mall at one end and the Waves Surf School and Club at the other, there’s something for everyone.
Culture – The Bauhaus Center Tel Aviv is an art gallery dedicated to Bauhaus-style design and architecture, and, beyond the gallery itself, also offers guided city tours. If you prefer to put your feet up in front of the silver screen, there’s a choice of Rav Hen Dizengoff and Lev Cinemas.
Theater – The Cameri Theater puts on productions of musicals and plays, including Shakespeare. Adjacent to it is the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center which performs opera, dance, and music, with some specifically designed with children in mind.
