Neighborhood

  • Dining Options – Jo’s Grille is an American eatery with a menu featuring an eclectic range of dishes, from kebabs to seafood and burgers, so you’re almost certain to find something you’ll like. Mediterranean fare, including vegetarian and vegan options, can be found at Hovan Mediterranean Gourmet, with barbecue delights and a vinegar-based sauce (using an old family recipe) available at Old Brick Pit Barbeque. Italian fans should head on over to the stone villa that houses Villa Christina, where North Italian cuisine is on the menu. Other local styles include Bangladeshi, Japanese, and Mexican.

  • Truist Park – Major League Baseball fans can head west to find this stadium, the home ground of the MLB’s Atlanta Braves. In addition to catching top flight baseball action, the arena also hosts college football on occasion, and live concerts on a more regular basis.

  • Atlanta History Center – The Atlanta History Center is located in a picturesque building, and explores the antebellum South through interesting exhibits including an 1845-era farm that comes complete with blacksmith and smokehouse. There’s also a Civil War exhibit, and a restored Texas locomotive.

  • Atlanta Botanical Garden – To the south of the hotel is the Atlanta Botanical Garden, where day visitors can while away the time strolling around the 30 acres of greenery and fountains, and just get away from it all.
