Hotel Description

Midwestern charm meets a great location at the Hotel Lincoln Chicago. The hourly rooms come with Wi-Fi enabled and, unusually for a hotel, pets stay with no extra fee required, which is excellent value for travelers who have a four-legged friend with them. Nearby, the attractions include Lincoln Park Zoo, a wide range of museums, top flight sporting arenas, and the Lincoln Park Conservatory.

Neighborhood

  • Old School Taverns and Modern Restaurants – Enjoy tavern and barbecue fare at Twin Anchors Restaurant & Tavern, founded back in 1932 and once a haunt of a fellow by the name of Frank Sinatra. Or visit the oldest pub in Chicago: Marge’s Still, which first served patrons in 1885 and today offers French-inspired food washed down with craft beers and wine. Those fond of fondue should try Geja’s Café, which is also the perfect romantic spot for a couple to spend time together. But if you’re after seafood then visit the light and airy surroundings of Two Lights Seafood & Oyster, which includes a raw bar.

  • Magnificent Museums – Explore the enthralling history of the city at the Chicago History Museum, located just a little southeast of the day use rooms. The dramatic twists of the city’s story are revealed through engaging exhibits including newsreels and dioramas. Keen museum-goers have plenty of others to visit nearby, including the International Museum of Surgical Science, and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.

  • Lincoln Park Zoo – Adjacent to the hotel is Lincoln Park, and its namesake zoo. This wildlife center offers free admission, and its interactive farm exhibit is just the ticket for keeping little ones entertained. Magnificent beasts from apes to lions can be admired, plus there’s a gift shop to get yourself, or friends/family, a souvenir.

  • Lincoln Park Conservatory – In the northern section of the park is Lincoln Park Conservatory, where the plants vary from domestic to exotic and number in the thousands. The glass-domed structure that houses the varied flora is the home of tropical orchids and palms, sausage and banana trees, among many, many more.
