We did a day Cabana rental at New Point Hotel. It took over 45 mins to get checked in. We had to go back and forth between 2 different areas twice to get registered and then the key. The cabana we were given was upstairs so that was a struggle going up the stairs with all our luggage. We took towels from the cabana down to the beach since it was right in front of the pool area. The beach area was nice, the cabana was clean but run down. We weren’t given a code to get back into the pool area but just waited until others came out.

Very poor job cleaning the room. Last guest who stayed in the room before me used the bathroom and didn't flush the toilet and I found it.

The hotel offers rooms that are separate for work and rest. I got a combined setting where I did not feel comfortable with video meetings because the bed was in full view. In addition, the room and floor were not cleaned properly, and the housekeeping staff being disrespectfully loud and having inappropriate conversations outside the room door. I was in the middle of a meeting, and the door was knocked on for checkout when I had the room until 4:00 pm. This will be the last time I would use 48 LEX and may never use hotels by day ever again. I paid extra for a room layout that I never got.

Hi JB.  Thank you for your feedback.  Being that you booked the 'In-room Workspace', the assumption is that you're working in a hotel room, which most of the time, has indeed a bed. Have you asked Front Desk for a different space assignment?
