We did a day Cabana rental at New Point Hotel. It took over 45 mins to get checked in. We had to go back and forth between 2 different areas twice to get registered and then the key. The cabana we were given was upstairs so that was a struggle going up the stairs with all our luggage. We took towels from the cabana down to the beach since it was right in front of the pool area. The beach area was nice, the cabana was clean but run down. We weren’t given a code to get back into the pool area but just waited until others came out.

Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and fell far short of expectations.
Throughout my visit, I was repeatedly approached by staff—at least three times-questioning what I was doing there, despite having the correct neon yellow wristband. This made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
Additionally, there were no accessible outlets to charge my phone. The few outlets that were available were placed in inconvenient areas, and access was later restricted due to an event. This added unnecessary stress to my visit. The beach chairs were also in poor condition and outdated, many of them torn and in need of replacement.
To top it off, I waited over two hours without any service from the beach bartender, which further contributed to a frustrating experience.
I hope they take this feedback seriously and work on improving the guest experience moving forward.

For those of you who were attracted by the cheap price(around $42), please be advised this is the price for the pool pass ONLY. It does NOT offer a room for you to stay in the daytime. As a traveler who is not quite familiar with Florida, it is easily to be confused. So if you are looking for a hotel to stay during your daytime while waiting for your cruise line or flight, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE double check with front desk what you are booking for.

hi JJ. that's quite a regretable review! all our pool passes are clearly listing the service being provided in the booking flow and in the confirmation service. Would you recommend we do something different in order to differentiate the services? Thank you JJ.
