Timeless European design meets comfort at AC Hotel Raleigh North Hills’ day rooms. Located in the heart of the shopping, dining and entertainment area of the Triangle Region, the hotel provides guests with free Wi-Fi and the Level7 Rooftop Bar with tapas and Spanish wine on tap. Exploring the local area, the day use rooms have museums, sporting arenas, and multiple great live performance venues close at hand.
Global Menu – There’s on-site dining but if you prefer exploring your options there are plenty in the vicinity. One of the nearest is upscale steakhouse The Capital Grille which combines classic American fare with elegant surroundings. Gourmet burgers and sushi are both on the menu at The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar, whilst traditional Lebanese-American cuisine, including vegetarian options, is available at Aladdin’s Eatery North Hills. A laid-back atmosphere and Caribbean culinary treats await you at Bahama Breeze, as do tropical cocktails.
Live Performances – Music fans need only head south to encounter the Red Hat Amphitheater, a 5,000 seat live music venue which hosts a wide variety of genres. Music is also one of the many live performance types put on by the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, which hosts plays and other productions as well. Those after stand-up comedy should visit Goodnights Comedy Club, which has a bar and grill to go along with the mirth.
Sporting Action – Sports fans also have a choice of venues, with PNC Arena to the west being an obvious choice as it’s the home of the NHL’s Hurricanes (and the basketball team of NC State). Plus, concerts are hosted when the sporting action isn’t on. Right next door is the Carter-Finley Stadium, where the NC State Wolfpack football team play.
