In the surrounding area, countless splendid shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and lively nightclubs can be found. The hotel was built in 1939, by master architect L. Murray Dixon, and it features a wonderful rooftop terrace with outdoor pool, panoramic ocean views and the Spire Bar & Lounge, set behind the historic Tiffany spire. The restaurant serves delicious Italian cuisine, and guests can work out in the fitness centre. For added convenience, there is complimentary wireless internet access available in the rooms, public areas and the meeting area.
